Are you a Chicano, Mexicano, Latino, Hispanic, or does it matter?

I am a Chicano....I've lived in the Central Valley for a few years now and I've noticed something....Latinos in the Valley either identify themselves as "Hispanics", wiothout understanding the origin of the identifier, or really don't care about how they're identified.

 

I'm interested....

 

How do you identify yourself and why?
