I'm hoping that this will motivate and mobilize the Latino community, especially here in the Central Valley.

I sense a bit of malaise here and that needs to change!

I'm not forseeing it, but I'd really like to see the trade embargo with Cuba lifted.

Although I agree with the lifting of the embargo, I think our community in particular has way more pressing needs.

Chicanos/Latinos aren't entering colleges at a rate that will prepare them to lead the next generation. High school dropout rates don't seem to be dropping much.

Our community needs help and its up to us to make the changes necessary to do so.
